Join us November 6th, 2024 for our tenth ten-person, six-week virtual study of The Long Loneliness, as we introduce Blessed Dorothy Day and her model of radical hospitality. Since January 2022, we have hosted six virtual sessions with attendees summoned to explore a higher calling – something bigger than themselves, challenged by Dorothy Day’s ‘comfort the afflicted’.

Attendees start our study curious, apprehensive and end the study transfixed by Dorothy’s revolution of the heart –‘faithful to the Gospel, the church, immersed in the social issues of the day, transforming individuals and society.’ Previous attendee comment - “Galvanized determination to help create a downtown Tampa homeless drop-in center.” – Tom Henry - first study group.
As an outcome of our first study group, a development team began a two-year ministry building process that created Dorothy Day Tampa, Inc. 4/4/2022. Imagine the possibilities…….
